FRESH is a fairly new shop located in historical Jasper. We opened in February and thanks to our wonderful customers the shop is doing great! We sell a mineral based paint and give DIY workshops. We love seeing our customers transform their vintage finds into a beautiful piece of art. The paint we use is CeCe Caldwell's Chalk and Mineral Paint and there are 36 beautiful colors in the pallet. And the best part - the paint is all natural. You can find out more about our wonderful little store by clicking on this link https://www.facebook.com/FRESH2013. We would love for you to "like" us on Facebook and become our friend so that you can stay updated on the many fun things that we offer at FRESH.
There are three of us who own FRESH - Michelle Williams, Sharon Wells, and me. We are also vendors in Junktique in Jasper, Livingston Consignor Mall, and J&A Antiques in Hemphill.
I have been blogging for several years but stopped for sometime because I was caught up in coaching and teaching! But since I have retired from that life - I feel I have more time to share with you this new venture in my life. Stay tuned for more DIY, furniture makeovers, sewing projects, travels, giveaways and junking finds! Below is our Beginner Class - Paint Made Easy 101 for July. We would love to register you for one of our classes so you can enjoy a fun learning experience with our paint!

Do It Yourself Chair Planter
I bought this bentwood chair and painted it New Orleans Purple and planted some plants in an old pot and sat that in the bottom of the chair. I love the New Orleans Purple with the bright green potato vine. This was an easy project that only took a couple of hours to finish. Do you have an old chair that is missing the bottom? If so, this is an easy re purposing project! Have a wonderful week, and may God bless you.

Completed Projects with CeCe Caldwell's Chalk and Clay Paints
I hope you had a wonderful July 4th Holiday, I sure did. It was a nice quiet day at our house but I got so much accomplished. Two of our children are coming home this weekend and we are planning a day on the lake Saturday. The menu will be charcoal hamburgers, home made peach ice cream, potato salad and fun in the boat. I have finished up several painting projects this past week that I wanted to share with you. I completed the French provincial vanity, the SFT desk/vanity, and the commissioned piece. Here are a few photos of those - Have a blessed weekend.
