Time to get busy

I am back from Canton and we had a great time. It was extremely hot and humid this weekend. I found several "treasures" that I love and saw many cute ideas. There are so many talented people that have such pretty things. I went by a the "Blue Gate" booth and bought a fork chandelier for my back porch porch. I also found more old windows for my mini greenhouse that I am going to build....another project! On our trip to Roundtop I saw these cute mini greenhouse's and I have been planning to build one for my yard. The Blue Gate had several of these that she puts beautiful Mosaic art work on the outside of them and they are gorgeous. Take a look at her website. It's listed on my favorites. The best deals were on Sunday when everyone was packing up to leave. The vendors were wanting to sell their merchandise instead of packing all of it. I found several good deals on glassware on Sunday. While I was gone I got a call that I had won a bid on the beautiful 1920's vanity that I wanted from the estate sale this week. I will post a picture of this beautiful piece of furniture later. I am going to try and finish up some of my projects this week since we are out of school now. I've promised my mom that I will help her with one of her projects too this week so it's going to be a busy week. Time to get busy!!!

  1. Hi Mancy
I am so glad that you left a comment on my blog. Are you going to join the porch party? I wasn't sure from your comment. You can always post a photo of a favorite porch if your house doesn't have one.

  2. Hi Nancy
Glad you're going the party. If you like your back porch best then feature it if you want.
I would love to visit Linda's Blue Gate booth. She makes such fabulous things. Lucky you to be able to go to Canton
    See you Thursday.
